An Iowa native, Sarah was raised in Southern Iowa. She received her BFA in Photography and Drawing from Northwest Missouri State University and MA and MFA from the University of Iowa in Photography, Drawing and Video Art. She has taught in the arts at community colleges, and various art centers and workshops. Most recently Sarah was on the Art and Design faculty at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
